What's that you say?<br /><br />Did you know that when you are stressed, or should I say in dis - stress, this is when you don't have the resources to overcome the challenge at hand.&nbsp; When this happens you only have two choices:<br /><br />1.&nbsp; compensate for not having the answer by doing something else and/or<br />2.&nbsp; suppress the feeling/thought or action back down into the body!&nbsp;<br /><br />These two things are, through my 12 years experience, what creates all of the pains, illness, conditions and diseases we have in the world today!&nbsp;<br /><br />Continued, pro-longed and constant stress, that you cannot cope with, can and most likely will be the death of you!&nbsp; It affects your ability to heal yourself, affects your ability to utilise the foods you eat and convert that into energy, it affects your ability to use your immune system effectively, creates more and more unsupportive patterns of functioning that go against maintaining the integrity of the health of your body.&nbsp;<br /><br />Did you know that <strong>16% of Australians suffer from chronic back pain</strong>, meaning long-term, constant pain.<br /><br /><strong>70-90% of people</strong> will suffer from back pain at some point in their lives. So Why?<br /><br />Did you know that with nearly all back pain there is a mental/emotional connection?<br /><br /><u><strong>For example;</strong></u><br /><strong>Neck pain </strong>can be about feeling inflexible in relation to a situation, event or person.&nbsp;<br /><strong>Thoracic or mid-back pain</strong> can relate to insecurity.&nbsp; People watching you.&nbsp;<br /><strong>Lower back pain</strong> can be around losing your freedom or feeling a lack of support.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br />Yes, these are fairly ambiguous statements, however, when you understand how we function neurologically, then you begin to understand how we start to malfunction.<br /><br />Firstly, when we deny ourselves something, or experience stress or trauma, or come to a conclusion about a stressful situation.&nbsp; The more denial we exercise, the more we move away from our ability to recover from the events in our lives.&nbsp; The more negative energy we build up, the more we seem to 'be in trouble'.&nbsp; &nbsp; Then eventually we experience a 'reality attack' which pulls us back to ourselves.&nbsp; Unfortunately, today, we are very good at stalling those reality attacks.&nbsp; Because we are told they are a bad thing and we don't want to feel that way.&nbsp; So we continue to live in our denial.&nbsp; There are different layers to this denial, for today we are concentrating on the physical manifestation of them.<br /><br />Our neurology (brain and nervous system - spinal cord and nerve&nbsp; pathways) functions according to a strict set of patterns.&nbsp; &nbsp;These patterns become disrupted as we continue to 'defend' against all these different areas of our lives.&nbsp; More importantly, this limits our ability to do other things too.&nbsp; &nbsp; Especially&nbsp;our ability to heal ourselves.<br /><br />Back pain is an indication of neurological dysfunction.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Your brain requires good feedback from all areas to maintain effective control and function.&nbsp; When you experience back pain, this feedback can be compromised.&nbsp; Signals aren't getting through appropriately.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />All the time you are defending,&nbsp; you are not functioning at your best capacity.<br /><br />Functional Neuro-Training is designed to re-train and remind your neurology how to function better.&nbsp; how would that make you feel?&nbsp; Awesome, huh?&nbsp; What an achievement.&nbsp; You&rsquo;ve been trying to get those done for so long!</font><br><br><font size="3">Let&rsquo;s face it, nowadays we all have loads of &lsquo;stuff&rsquo; to get done.&nbsp; At work, at home, with our families, friends.&nbsp; There&rsquo;s no time to fit it all in.</font><br><br><strong><font size="4">Here&rsquo;s your 3 majors!&nbsp;</font></strong></font><ol><li><font color="#24678D" size="3">Not prioritising &ndash; or prioritising too many things!</font></li><li><font color="#24678D" size="3">Not making your to-do&rsquo;s SMART &ndash; be realistic &ndash; break it down if it&rsquo;s a big one!</font></li><li><font color="#24678D" size="3">The list is far too long, looking at it just makes you go into a panic!</font></li></ol><font color="#24678D" size="3">&nbsp;<br>So, let me ask you...<br>&#8203;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Question 1.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Where has the fun gone in your life?&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Question 2.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Why do I always have a never ending list of stuff to do?<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Question 3.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;What can I do about it?<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Question 4.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;How is this going to change?<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Question 5.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Who can help me?<br>&nbsp;<br>Well, here's my take on it...<br><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Answer 1.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Let&rsquo;s make time for some fun! Once you start achieving, you wont feel guilty about giving&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;yourself some time to have fun!&nbsp; Go enjoy yourself!<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Answer 2.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;You will always have a list &ndash; but let&rsquo;s help you start reducing it!<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Answer 3.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Learn the golden rule &ndash; <strong>Take three, Delete three, Do three, Update</strong><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Answer 4.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Do this simple thing each morning &ndash; you <strong>will</strong> reduce the overwhelm<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Answer 5.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;YOU.&nbsp; You can do this simple task.&nbsp; All you need is a new piece of paper and a pen or a new&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;digital list and you are off and away.<br>&nbsp;<br>If you want more information about goals and to-do&rsquo;s download my free e-book on acing your health and wellness goals.&nbsp; You can apply these techniques to any goal or to-do, no matter how big or small.<br><br>So, get that list out right now.&nbsp; If it&rsquo;s in your head &ndash; definitely write them all down or start to use an app like wunderlist or asana or google tasks.&nbsp; Remember &ndash; don&rsquo;t get bogged down into sorting your to-do&rsquo;s and spend hours categorising them.&nbsp; You just need a basic list.&nbsp; Take your 3 most important and urgent items from that list.&nbsp; Write them down to make a new separate list.&nbsp; Only 3 NO MORE! &nbsp;(<strong>TAKE 3</strong>) Delete the three from your original list (<strong>DELETE 3),</strong> start working on them now (<strong>DO 3</strong>) and update your original list with any other tasks that happen to come in throughout your day (<strong>UPDATE</strong>).<br>Repeat the next morning.&nbsp;<br><br>Watch your list start to change.<br><br>Watch yourself become more focused.<br>&nbsp;<br>Feel the difference in the motivation you have now that you achieved the tasks you set for yourself today.<br><br>Remember download my free e-book. Letting it control your life?&nbsp; Avoiding parts of your life so you don&rsquo;t trigger a reaction?</font><br /><br /><strong><font size="4">I</font></strong><font size="3">s what you doing and how you are doing it working for you?&nbsp; Can you get those feelings under control?&nbsp; In the moment, do you have a technique you can use that&rsquo;s effective?&nbsp; Read on&hellip; I can give you a simple one that really works!!!</font><br /><br /><strong><font size="4">W</font></strong><font size="3">hat if I could show you a proven method to help with those feelings?&nbsp; So what about dealing with this issue for good?&nbsp; How would that make you feel?&nbsp; Think what you could do if you didn&rsquo;t have those anxious feelings?&nbsp; What kind of things would you go out and do?&nbsp; Where would you go?&nbsp; How would that make you feel if you could go out and do those things?</font><br /><br /><strong><font size="4">W</font></strong><font size="3">hy does it affect you and so many others?&nbsp; Well, it is a natural process that is protecting us.&nbsp; It&rsquo;s just that the particular response you are having is inappropriate for the situation.&nbsp; You just don&rsquo;t understand why this response is being triggered, and you don&rsquo;t always know how&nbsp; you can deal with it.</font><br /><br /><strong><font size="4">W</font></strong><font size="3">hy does it stop you in your tracks and prevent you from doing so many things?&nbsp; Well, anxiety is Fear gone out of control! &nbsp;And what is FEAR?&nbsp; Fear is a mis-perception of a situation or circumstance.&nbsp; FEAR stands for False Evidence Appearing Real!&nbsp; Yup.&nbsp; What you are perceiving in the moment is not actually what you need to perceive to get through it.&nbsp; You are using evidence you have stored from a long time back to deal with situations happening now.&nbsp; But you are using strategies for now that are not going to change what happened from a long time back.</font><br /><br /><strong><font size="4">S</font></strong><font size="3">o, who have I already helped?</font></font><ul><li><font color="#050e4e" size="3">A lady who could only drive within her suburb and never get further.&nbsp; Now drives all over Perth, into the city and on the freeway.</font></li><li><font color="#050e4e" size="3">A divorcee who couldn&rsquo;t stop his shaking.&nbsp; He used to have to load up with alcohol just to cope with a social situation and then made a fool of himself and felt bad every time.</font></li><li><font color="#050e4e" size="3">A lady with PTSD following various incidents, suffered with severe anxiety and insomnia, now refers others to me as she feels so much more in control.</font></li><li><font color="#050e4e" size="3">A lady who was bullied at work and treated badly by previous partner, now free from feelings of inadequacy and feeling able to get back out in the world.</font></li><li><font color="#050e4e" size="3">An ex-army gentleman with anger issues, now able to keep calmer and feel more in control of his emotional outbursts.</font></li><li><font color="#050e4e" size="3">A young girl with extreme anxiety of many different places and situations, now able to go to out with her family and friends freely and experience life, anxiety free</font></li><li><font color="#050e4e" size="3">And many more like this, using this proven approach, individualised for you.</font></li></ul><br /><font color="#050e4e"><u><font size="5"><strong>N</strong>ow, in a little more depth if you wish &hellip;</font></u></font><br /><br /></div>  <div>  <!--BLOG_SUMMARY_END--></div>  <div class="paragraph"><strong style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><font size="4">W</font></strong><font size="3" style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)">hat is Anxiety?&nbsp;Anxiety is when the fears you have are no longer under control.&nbsp; </font><br /><br /><strong style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><font size="4">I</font></strong><font size="3" style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)">f you have done any research on anxiety and depression, no doubt you have read that these issues often come from childhood.&nbsp; That is so true.&nbsp; &nbsp;They can also be inherited patterns believe it or not too.&nbsp; The only problem is, that when we are in the moment of stress and anxiety, we don&rsquo;t realist&nbsp;this fact, and we associate what&rsquo;s happening to us now with how we feel now, and where we are now and what we are doing now!&nbsp; However, the distress we are actually feeling is related to something from the past.&nbsp; So whatever we resolve now is not going to change that.&nbsp; The stress reactions are therefore just reinforced. Yup, that's right, every time you go through it again, you are reinforcing the reaction and another stress response!&nbsp; <u>Any</u> decisions you make while under the influence of this stress (which has become a habitual response, by the way &ndash; not a conscious one), are likely <u>totally </u>wrong for you!&nbsp; You think you are making the right decision, but in fact, you are not.&nbsp; Eventually, as this continues over time the stress hormones that are released during this fear respoonse, become so out of balance that they start to monopolise your nervous system.&nbsp; This affects <u>every</u> part of you, mental, emotional and physical and it affects how you respond to all aspects of your life.&nbsp; You are effectively, out of control.&nbsp; And that&rsquo;s what you are likely feeling.</font><br /><br /><strong style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><font size="4">T</font></strong><font size="3" style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)">his hormone imbalance, if allowed to continue for years, will result in some unpleasant health problems later in life, on top of your already unpleasant anxiety!</font><br /><br /><strong style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><font size="4">I</font></strong><font size="3" style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)">ts interesting isn&rsquo;t it. I</font><br /><br /><strong style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><font size="4">I</font></strong><font color="#0a0543"> would just like you to read this &hellip; it is a fantastic description from Andrew Verity (Neuro-Training Founder and my mentor) from his book the efficient CEO Brain:&nbsp;</font><br /><br /><em><font color="#3f3f3f" size="4">"While we are stressed and realise we cannot change anything now, we are depressed.&nbsp; This is primarily processed in the left side of the brain.&nbsp; While it&rsquo;s here the result will be a defence reaction.&nbsp; When we have the realisation that this will continue into the future the processing moves from the left brain (past events) into the right brain (future events).&nbsp; Now we are projecting the stress into the future along with the realisation we cannot change anything.&nbsp; Suddenly our future is destroyed and what do we do?&nbsp; Go into fear reactions we call Anxiety.&nbsp; Same reactions and concepts just in a different part of the brain&rdquo;</font></em><br /><br /><font style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><strong><font size="4">S</font></strong><font size="3">o interesting, don&rsquo;t you think?</font></font><br /><br /><font style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><strong><font size="4">W</font></strong><font size="3">e need to find the associations that have been used as references since you were young and defuse your reactions to them.&nbsp; Allowing you to create new references for how to do life.&nbsp; Taking you out of the &lsquo;fear response&rsquo; or survival mode or defence or whatever you want to call it.&nbsp; Allowing your brain to rationalise and create new patterns for how to do life.&nbsp; Rather than creating inappropriate strategies whilst in a fear response.</font></font><br /><br /><font style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><font size="5"><u><strong>S</strong></u><u>o how does it work?&nbsp; How do we do that?</u></font></font><br /><br /><font style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><strong><font size="4">I</font></strong><font size="3"> find the specific triggers that throw your nervous system into the survival response.&nbsp; How? By using muscle checking, I facilitate a proven technique to re-train this response.&nbsp; Firstly, working on the physical body habits, then the psychological.</font><br /><br /><strong><font size="4">L</font></strong><font size="3">et&rsquo;s face it, if you could stop it happening you would have done it already.&nbsp; You begin to be consciously aware of these inappropriate reaction and start a process of making new more positive ones.</font></font><br /><br /><font style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><strong><font size="4">I</font></strong><strong><font size="3">f</font></strong><strong><font size="4">&nbsp;</font></strong><font size="3">you want to try a different, long-lasting, non-medicated approach to dealing with your anxiety &hellip; keep reading.</font></font><br /><br /><font style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><strong><font size="4">T</font></strong><font size="3">his process strengthens the connection between your conscious and subconscious mind.&nbsp; Changing your perceptions and working to clear the fear, pain and illusions you have been using as a defence mechanism throughout your life.</font></font><br /><br /><font style="color:rgb(10, 5, 67)"><strong><font size="4">W</font></strong><font size="3">e defuse your 9 major brain functions (all about your cognitive ability) and work to defuse any unsupportive learned behaviours.&nbsp; Then we detach you from the fear spiral, where you get stuck in fear and pain, and we look at any inherited limitations from parents and past generations that are holding you back.&nbsp; Finally we defuse the Negative Emotional Charge (this sits in your limbic system,&nbsp; Not only that, for some, iron tablets just don't make a difference.&nbsp; So why?&nbsp;<br /><br />Here are some of the main reasons people may have an iron deficiency problem:</font><ol><li><font size="3">Poor diet &ndash; Now we have to continue with what we are doing, but without the use of a rational mind and having all our energy geared up to fight or flight.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />Now you are running on survival. &nbsp;<br />Stress hormones are running the show. &nbsp;<br />When this happens some elements of normal functioning are put on 'hold' whilst you deal with the immediate threat. &nbsp;<br />When in this survival response, we create compensations for functioning and will often suppress things too.&nbsp; These compensations and suppression use up a lot of our energy that we would otherwise use for living.&nbsp; If left to run as part of normal functioning they can create dis-ease and disharmony within our thoughts, emotions and physical functioning that lead to conditions and problems later on.&nbsp;<br />There is an old saying Prevention is better than Cure!<br />As a Neuro-Trainer we verify imbalances in any part of the person using muscle monitoring and use anything from hormone balancing, meridian therapy, physical manipulation or emotion defusion and more to bring balance back, re-train the person's neurology to function as it should and use all our resources to do life.<br /><br /></font></div>]]></content:encoded></item></channel></rss>
